Wuz up TooBIZ,
I'm really blessed and enthusiastic about your music. The Lord has called me to be in the gospel rap music ministry also. It's been kinda hard for a young person like me to get in a studio. I'm only 14 years old. I go by Sanctified Soldia. My real name is Arsenio. Every time I'm bout to get into a studio I tell the people I do gospel rap and they want no part of that. Well...I just wanted to let you know that your rhymes are hot...stay annointed and lead by the spirit....spit what the Lord gives to you only....
God Bless

"I want society to be a positive environment for all of us, no matter what the age or race, and tOObizzy seems to think the same. He's a very positive person and has a good outlook on life (from what I know).  He takes time out for his fans and isn't egotistical at all.  I really do think that he'll make a change, and make it somewhere!!!  We need more rappers like him."

"I am a hip-hop DJ at KGBA Missoula 89.9 FM.  Recently we did an interview with the tOObizzy mc and the town of Missoula now has the word out that he's for real and are asking for a concert.  During our radio show we received constant feedback on the interview and it was all good.  Keep it up tOObizzy."

"I love the site, I love the music, and I love the message you all are sending out.  I got to make a request, come on out to Missoula, MT for a concert, it'd be huge, this town needs a taste of some Hip-Hop besides Bad Boy, Death Row, and No Limit.  I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but Missoula needs an eye-opener and you guys have that flava. Peace out."

"Just heard your interview with Superman on KGBA-Missoula, MT.  I wanted to drop you a line to let you know that it is so refreshing to encounter such an inspired and intelligent celebrity personality.  I commend you on your drive and ambition and obvious positivity! Heads up to you bro!  Keep up the good word...and for the record...you truely are the role model that parents wish their children would aspire to. Take care!"

"2BZ I've been facing a lot of demons, during my struggle to overcome cocaine addiction.  I just recently relapsed when I lost my baby two months ago.  Since then I have given my life to God.  My hardest battle is finding good Christian rap.  My point is I live in a very small town in Lovington, New Mexico, and I cannot get a hold of one of these tapes.  So if you could mail me a copy of some fat tracks I would be very greatful.  Thank you."

"As a positive emcee I'm feeling what y'all are doing here.  I'm trying to be down too but whenever I spit something people will say 'ugh, that was sick' but on the real they really 'aint felt me at all.  I think everything is subject to influence, so obviously they (rappers with negative mentality) can't see what I see so they aren't influenced in the positive manner.  Ignorance and unwillingness to recognize positive authenticity is the main problem.  Everyone is still stuck on that 'kill a hoe/peel a cap/stack some gees & have some sex' type of image, that's where it all starts."

"Well, my reason for interest is cause I'm in one of the 4 elements of the Hip-Hop circuit (b-boyin') and I have mad love for your site and want to be updated on any other hiphop events or anything like that for that matter...so you keep on keepin' on what you're doing and good luck to you. I'm out. Peace out."

"I must say I am happy to see other people who are interested in the upliftment of Positive Hip Hop.  Hip Hop has so much power in it's hand right now and it is not being used properly.  I am a regular at a site called www.hiphop.com, and just being on this site gives me a lot of hiphop pride because there are so many rappers from all over the world that visit this site.  The problem is that there is so much filth on this site.  I am like you in that I really wish that the positive rap could be moved back into the forefront of hiphop.  If the youth are the future and hip hop has a strong influence on the youth, it means hip hop has a strong influence on the future! I hear so many rappers talk about how bad the world is but if they only knew what they have in their hands.  Right now, they have great power to do something about that!  The future does not look good if these negative influences continue over the youth at least without a positive balance."

"Yo man, I came upon this site and I feel the same way. U gotta do what u feel. Flug the critics, it's about what u feel inside and project to yourself with music.  That's what the essence of music and hip-hop is all about. Self expression is first.  I produce beats n' stuff. People feel my stuff but I'm more concerned about what I feel within myself.  Keep doin' y'all stuff and keep me updated with any underground stuff from around your way.  I'd like to listen to some of y'all tapes and stuff. Peace."

Peace."

"I'm doing a report on the emergence of the Hip-Hop culture.  Your site and others like it are very helpful to me and others interested in the subject, and those who don't know anything about it become educated in some of the aspects of urban America.  I like to see positive people doing positive things.  May God bless you in your pursuits.  Keep it real, and keep up the good work."

Thanks for listening and if you can tell me how I can contribute please do so. Peace eternal."

"I have visited the 2BZ site.  I think that tOObizzy mc is a great influence on the Hip-Hop community.  We can do an interview either by phone or by email…or if tOObiz will be in NYC anytime soon, we could do the interview in person.  I would like to get his CD first, so that I could listen to his music some more.  But I know if that if it’s anything like past productions, it will be great!"

PEACE!"

"My name is Gerald Mwega.  Don’t ask how I got to know you because I liked you the first time I saw you…on the Hip Hop Zone.  I got the address from my best friend and collegue, Simeon Kibarabara.  So what’s happening?  I am a great fan of morals and campaigning against music with obscene language…too bad for the kids.  I watched a Coolio show in Kenya the other day.  Gosh…the language too bad…left immediately because I was embarrassed…that’s why I did not attend the Lost Boyz concert in Nairobi."

"Hi!  I am a fan of Christian Rap Music because it’s a big blessing to my life.  I come from Kenya (East Africa).  Here in Kenya we don’t seem to have a lot of Rap Christian Music in our Shops since most Christians don’t enjoy that type of music, but we have a few young people over here who love it, I bein’ one of them.

I have a few friends of mine over here we are all in our twenties. I will go and encourage them to join the 2BZ Family, we all like Christian Rap Music that has a unique message, not just any.  We are all from one Tribe called KIKUYU and from a village called GACHIE in the Kiambu District.

How can I get your music please advise me on that. I came across your name on the internet in a Christian music page.  PEACE!"

"I am a former high school principal who has produced a CD entitled "The Rappin’ Principal."  The CD is positive and focuses on issues that face adolescents today, including drugs, alcohol, violence, and teenage pregnancy.  Our group "A New Beginning" performs live for schools and other youth-oriented organizations.  We are trying to get our message out to the world, and maybe we can have a positive effect on some children and adolescents."

"In one of my high school classes, we have many debates about the impact of rap on the black community.  I have always maintained that while some rappers dwell in negativity (as do other musicians), there is a whole movement of positive rap which is forgotten.  Please keep me updated with your list of positive rap/media, and I will be sure to pass it on to my classmates. Keep up the good work!"

Last year one of our campers drowned and we have finally overcome that tragedy."

"I work with inner city youth and have always thought it would be a great idea to have contests for positive poetry, lyrics, music, raps, etc.  I just want to hear more.  I would like all the ideas and support I can get to help the kids I work with.  Most of them have been in trouble with the law already.  They are all in a level 5 program for emotionally and behaviorally disturbed kids.  I see a lot of wasted potential.  I am a strong supporter of positive media.  Thanks for your efforts.

"When conversatin’ with my patna’s we often say that the movement to revolutionize the minds of the youth is happening all over the world.  First this was a guess but more and more I see that this is true fact every day.  I’m writing to let y’all know you not alone.  PREPAIR in Oakland, CA is a fountain of youth…some God fearing men that is a big part of the movement that has already started.  We started a record company strictly for the movement called "Look Alive Entertainment."  If y’all throw an event and need acts let us know, or just if you want to chop it up you have my information, HIT ME UP."

".tOObizzy emailed me today and left me a message about his web site, so I decided to check it out.  I am a Christian who loves all types of music.  However, I refuse to listen to some R&B and rap because the lyrics are unholy.  It’s a shame to waste a phat track on lousy lyrics right? So when I got your message about Christian rap and all that good stuff, I got excited.  I checked out a couple of things here and there on your website.  I especially like the lyrics to the songs on your album.  I am appreciative of your work and I hope to be hearing a lot more about your business in the future.  I believe that as Christians we have a responsibility to the Lord, to spread the Gospel which is the word of life…but before you can teach the Word through song, as you’re doing, you must first REACH the masses.  How can we reach the masses of young people who only like to listen to R&B, rap and Hip Hop and won’t touch gospel music b/c it’s too traditional sounding and boring.  I love the Lord and I love "bobbin’ my head" to a funky beat and at the same time singing lyrics that reflect my lifestyle and give honor to my God.  So YES! I do believe in positive media and I say mo’ power to ya, my brotha, and may God bless you in your efforts!"
