World Fellowship...Vision Objectives

In fulfilling the Vision, there are seven (7) major areas of emphasis to which WORLD FELLOWSHIP is committed.  This is not to suggest that there are no other areas of concern to which serious attention will not be given, but these are areas which the Lord has shown us and on which emphasis must be placed.

To become a people of FELLOWSHIP - that is, to challenge  individuals into
      developing and nurturing fellowship with God and with one another, resulting in a
      community of caring persons bonded together in covenant love.

1.  OBJECTIVES

Provide help and encouragement for each individual to develop a regular and personal 
      devotional time with God.

Provide intimate fellowship groups to cultivate caring, sharing, socializing and support for each other;  meeting each others needs.

Organize fellowship opportunities for the entire body.

Create an atmosphere of togetherness in our fellowship meetings.

To become a people of PRAYER, PRAISE AND WORSHIP - understanding and practicing prayer, praise and worship as a way of life and to come into the full knowledge and understanding of the presence and power of God in every situation of life, seeking to mature in ministry to God so that e can minister for God.
 

2.  OBJECTIVES

Cultivate and atmosphere every time we meet for the Holy Spirit to be present in power to meet our needs.

Time is allowed each time we meet for praise and worship and the operation of the gifts of the Spirit.

Provide time for the Ministry of Intercession.

To be a people committed to EVANGELISM - a people who understand that evangelism is the mission of the Church and so will pray for, give to and even participate in world evangelism.
 

3. OBJECTIVES

Provide opportunity for involvement in Outreach activity.

Provide training and material for each Member in personal evangelism.

Organize, train and send teams on Ministry missions.

Utilize the media for evangelism - television, radio and the print media.

Establish "church planting" in various remote parts of the world.

Identify and support world mission organizations committed to world evangelism and offer assistance to local members where possible.

To be a people given  to DISCIPLESHIP - to  ensure that each person receives personal pastoral care and is taught to observe to do all that the Lord commands, thus maturing to the point of sustaining and reproducing the Christ life.
 

4. OBJECTIVES

Provide leadership for fellowship in which members

Receive personal care and attention regarding the welfare of their lives (counseling, etc.) and can develop and find expression.

find  opportunity to develop and exercise their spiritual gifts and talents

find opportunity for person to person ministry

find opportunity to share and meet each other’s needs (material and spiritual)

Provide careful, balanced, biblical  instruction for daily living.

Provide resource material and library services to enhance spiritual growth and development.

Provide, through fellowship groups, opportunity for social and recreational activities as well as evangelism..
 
To be a people of KINGDOM LIVING - ALLOWING THE Kingdom Principles, ethics and power to govern their speech, attitude and actions in daily living.

5. OBJECTIVES

Provide seminars, retreats, workshops and conferences that will cover instruction on various areas of kingdom living.
Ensure carefully planned, prepared and balanced teaching and preaching of the Word.
Encourage the application of Biblical truths and values to daily living

To become a people of FAITH - understanding and applying faith in every area o f life, to see daily the results promised by God to those who live by faith.

6.  OBJECTIVES

Provide consistent and balanced teaching on faith living.
Assist members to practically apply their faith.

To be a people committed to FAMILY - a church built and structured on family commitment, teaching men, women and children to understand and fulfill their Scriptural roles within the family.
 

7.  OBJECTIVES

Provide teaching to men, women, and children on roles in the family.

Establish a vibrant youth program.

Establish a vibrant children’s program.

Establish a program for singles.

Provide counseling services for families.

Provide a strong and extensive pre-marital training services.

Encourage family- oriented activity and involvement.

Provide retreats, seminars etc.. For couples and families.
 
It is our vision that all the needs for our membership will be met materially and physically (Acts 2:44-45)

It is our vision to build a caring community.  We must become givers.

It is our vision to build a disciplined people - it is the only way for a strong community that will not abuse privileges.

It is our vision to train men and women for effective ministry through a Bible School Program.

It is our vision to have a strong program for the training and development of our children and young people.  Hence, education is a MUST for our involvement (nursery school, etc.)

It is our vision to invest and be involved in business for the benefit of our membership.  We will not entertain unemployment in WORLD FELLOWSHIP.

It is our vision to get involved in and organize a Financial Institution (Credit Union, etc.) or something of a similar nature to assist the membership in accomplishing their goals.

It is our vision to see men and women from WORLD FELLOWSHIP full of wisdom and the Holy Spirit, taking their place in every area of national life, and so influencing the society for righteousness sake.
