Mission:  "To encourage, exhort, and preach the Word or God (the Holy Bible) through an uncompromising
form of Hip Hop that will open the hearts of people to let them realize Christ is real."

"I was born and raised in Jamaica, Queens, NY.  I grew up in the church, but looking to people instead of the cross kept me from knowing God for myself.  When I moved to Atlanta in 1989, I began to sense the presence of the Lord calling me.

On March 11, 1990 at a youth meeting I saw "Distant Thunder" and "Thief in the Night," two films that focused on life on earth after the rapture.  Out of fear of being left behind, I went down on my knees and asked Jesus Christ into my heart.  The last words of my prayer of salvation were, "If you can use anything Lord, you can use me."

Since my acceptance of Christ, I have been actively involved with an international ministry called "Challenge Ministries." This ministry takes college men on summer missionary trips throughout the U.S. and abroad. This ministry has taught me how to preach, teach and defend the Holy Bible.

For the past few years, I have learned to love the Lord for who He is and not just what he has done for me.
November 1999, I released my third album, "Concept after Concept." I have poured my heart into this album, hoping that souls will be saved, lives changed and hearts encouraged. I give God all the glory that He rightly deserves.

tOObiz on Mark J:

Mark Johnson has inspired me to keep going. As some of you know, I have been out here for a long time doing this on my own and it has sometimes felt like being a man on an island by myself.  Since coming to Atlanta in 1998, I have plugged myself into other ministries who are similarly called. Meeting Mark J has been a blessing...my brotha has completely validated everything I am about...and for this I am thankful to God for him. 2BZ Media and the ministry of Positive Hip Hop completely supports this young man of God.
